This is a new line of breeding in which we are creating miniature vini-color/coloratum paphs. We crossed a vini-colored maudiae type Paph onto the species Paph. sublaeve, which is basically a miniature form of Paph. callosum. This species quickly develops into a specimen plant that holds 6 to 12 miniature flowers, and we are hoping that this characteristic will be passed down to this new hyrbid. Half of the seedlings will be vini-colored (as pictured), and half will be coloratum's (green and purple). The picture above is of the first seedling that bloomed, it had perfect shaped flowers that were only 6.5 cm (2.5 inches) across.
