Description
Considered amongst many the best sanderianum hybrid around due to its color and amazing petal length. In addition to being much easier to grow than sanderianum, this plant is a real treat. Petals have an average of 15 to 20 inches in length. Grow in medium light with warm conditions for best results. FYI, Paph. sanderianum is in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest-petaled lady slipper in the world!
We are offering 3 options due to foliage type.
1) Standard - green leaves 2) Leaf Blemish - some brown nicks here and there 3) Variegated - this batch has several variegated plants. The variegation on these seems to 'burn' easily, and there are brown marks on the undersides of the leaves, and sometimes on the top of the foliage as well. Sometimes these outgrow the variegation, or the browning goes away in lower light. See pictures for details.
We expect this batch to reach blooming size by the summer of 2026 to 2027 at the latest.
