Also known as Herman's Paphiopedilum, this orchid is a natural hybrid between Paph. helenae and Paph. hirsutissimum var. esquirolei. This hybrid is found naturally in the forests of northern Vietnam. A compact grower, this orchid blooms with appealing pink and yellow flowers. This Paph. has a preference for growing on limestone and will be affected by old media that has dropped in pH. The plant listed was just repotted into a medium/small bark mix.
