Description
This is the darkest form of the delenatii, sometimes called 'dunkel' or 'vinicolor', known for their darker foliage and nice cherry red pouch color. Once the flowers have been open for several days, they will have a slight scent of rose. The foliage is quite beautiful, with a blackish-burgundy color under the leaves and a dark margin on the top of the leaves. Beautiful foliage plant even when not in flower! Native to Vietnam and China.
These Paphs enjoy a lower light environment and consistent moisture at the root system. Typically they would like to be watered up to twice per week, depending on your environment. We water ours about every 4 days.
This current batch is scheduled to bloom in early February!
