Description
This is the rare green flower form of hirsutissimum, also known as the "Shaggy Paphiopedilum", this species is native to regions of Northeast India and Myanmar. In the wild, these orchids are most often found growing semi-epiphytically on or near trees, in media consisting of moss and detritus. This spring-blooming orchid benefits from a cooler, slightly drier winter to stimulate spring flowering. Water and fertilize regularly during the warmer season.
