Description
This species was formerly known as Paph. chamberlainianum var. Sumatra, but according to taxonomist Guido Braem, is now considered a valid species. The morphology of the leaves and the flowers are very different compared to Paph. chamberlainianum. The flowers are darker in color, and the foliage has a distinct mottling pattern.
