Description
This species has come a long way over the years, and we are offering the latest breeding quality of leucochilum.
Native to the southern islands off the coast of Thailand, this species has a larger growth habit and flower compared to Paph. godefroyae, and has a spotless pouch. Placed in the subgenus Brachypetalum, these orchids prefer warmer and drier root conditions relative to typical Paphiopedilum. In the winter, maintain lows above 70°F for optimal culture. These plants prefer a coarse, well-draining mix and can tolerate just barely drying between watering.
Current plants are near blooming size growing in a bark/perlite mix!
