This unusual color form is a cross between two seed grown plants that had half of their parentage from the pure flavum or yellow form of lowii and the other half the normal colored form. This was done to possibly create a small percentage of a new pure yellow strain. So far though all have flowered out right in between the two with brilliant yellow coloration and and a blush purple color on the petal tips and darker purple spots towards the center of the petals with a bright yellow back ground. The pouch has a lighter colored bronze look to it. These are large plants with great foliage and at least 2 growths. These take 6-10 years to reach this size. Grow these in lower light for best results and be sure some limestone or calcium is available either in the water or in the fertilizer. Water as the potting mix approaches dryness.
