We crossed the 'regular' strain of Paph lowii to the 'Horizontal' strain of Paph. lowii. The 'Horizontal' strain of Paph. lowii originated from Kalimantan, Borneo. It is different from the regular Paph. lowii, by having more compact plants, with stiff leaves that stand more upright. Also the flowers tend to have petals thas stand out more horizontal and finally the dorsal is almost entirely green. The picture shows both parents. The 'Regular' plant was a cross between 'Low's Dream' x 'Purple Flame'.
