Description
This magnificent, rare species from the Lesser Sunda Islands is a warm-growing, shade-loving plant that has very tall flower spikes (18-24") with 3-4 inch flowers colored in yellow, green pink and chocolate . The flowers appear as if they are varnished and they are quite shiny. The average life of the flowers is 2-3 months. Water as the potting mix approaches dryness. These typically start flowering anywhere from February to March. If listed on the in-spike list in December through January, expect the buds to be just emerging from the center of the growth.
