This is a hybrid from the subgenus 'Polychilos' which are known for waxy and shiny leaves with star-shaped, lightly fragrant flowers that bloom in the spring through fall months. Leave the flower spikes to grow so long as they are green, as they branch and flower for several years on end. These are seed grown hybrid plants and thus the flowers will vary in their color and saturation.
