A harlequin spotted, standard-size Phalaenopsis full of color and patterns galore! Note that the name 'Shiny Pink Bubble' is a Taiwanese trade name, and not an official RHS-registered hybrid. However, trade-name plants are often found to be clones of RHS-registered plants. The actual flower from this hybrid will have a stronger white edge than the photo shows.

This is part of our spike-initiated series, which is a way to save costs on the plant price and the shipping. These come in the Taiwan soft production pots with a single drain hole on the bottom, which are typically dropped into a sturdy ceramic container for display. You have the choice to up-pot it by adding more moss or bark around the root system (we recommend about a 5.5 to 6-inch pot), or leave it as-is and drop it into an appropriate container.

*Note that Taiwan production Phals are grown in tight spaces, with foliage sometimes flopping over. We re-train them with clear tape. If you receive a plant with clear tape, you may remove it after 2 weeks, and the foliage will then stay in place.
