Description
This compact-to-miniature plants are very productive, producing flowers at least twice per year. Also the old flower spikes can produce baby plants called Keiki's (Hawaiian for Baby) that can be removed after the roots are 3 inches long or so. Don't cut the flower spikes unless they become tan and dry. Water as the potting mix approaches dryness. The cute ivory white flowers have a light chocolate lip with yellow in the center and darker red spotting on the inside lobes of the lip. The flowers last 2-3 months and a flower spike can be blooming for several months. (Please note: the smaller aphrodite was the real parent in the hybrid and not amabalis)
