Vandanopsis Irene Dobkin 'Elmhurst' HCC/AOS (formerly Asconopsis) is a classic intergeneric hybrid that has not been available for several years. Intergeneric Phalaenopsis hybrids are not commonly available as they do not breed easily. This plant has stiffer foliage and flowers than standard Phalaenopsis, but grows under the same conditions.
