This Phalaenopsis is native to the Philippines on the islands of Polillo and Palawan. This is an easy to grow species that is vigorous and produces a large number of flowers when mature. It gets its name from the hieroglyphic-like patterns on the flowers. Do not cut the stems off until they turn yellow as they can re-flower for multiple seasons.
