Description
A classic, awarded clone of this beautiful Philippine species! ‘Pink Butterfly’ received an AM/AOS (81 points) in 1997 in Maui, HI. This clone has not been around for several years, but has now been reintroduced so more growers can enjoy its lovely mottled foliage and its fantastic display of branching flower stems with a light, sweet fragrance.
These are blooming-size plants that are now rooted after being imported in the late spring. With its naturally pendulous foliage, this species is also an excellent candidate for mounting, as seen in our example photo.

This species typically initiates spikes from November through early December, with flowers opening from late January into February.
