Seedlings of the indigo blue strain using select parents. These wonderful plants produce deep indigo blue flowers that last well and have a great fragrance. Blue (coerulea) orchids are rare in nature. We only offer these every three to four years or so as they become available via seed production. These are warm growers but will tolerate temps into the low 60's at night in winter as long as the days are 70 or above.

The photos are representative of what the flowers will look like. The colors will vary slightly from plant to plant although line breeding is creating darker more saturated blue/ indigo. LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE. These typically flower starting in July into fall months and can produce a number of flowers on the same spike. Do not cut off the flower spikes as long as they are green as they can flower for several years on the same spike Taking a break from flowering typically in the dead of winter unless you are growing under artificial lights.
