The legendary reddest of the red, Phragmipedium Jason Fischer! Jerry Fischer registered this hybrid in 1996 and named it for his son Jason. Utilizing the tetraploid Phrag. besseae as the pollen parent created this impressive 3N plant. We have found that the triploid plants grow with the most vigor and resilience, compared to orchids with 2N or 4N genetics. The plant pictured is the plant you will receive, just beginning to flower as of February 8th with an impressive petal width of 3.5-inches. This orchid will continue to bloom, producing more flowers from the same spike over the upcoming months. This is a select plant, grown from seed (our breeding) in our collection since 2013.
