Finally!! We have made some true 4N Jason Fischers, utilizing Phrag. Memoria Dick Clement's 'Rocket Flash' (4N) which originated from the Eric Young Orchid Foundation and the famous Phrag. besseae 'Rob's Choice' AM/AOS (4N). We have seen several of these flower and they are a deep, deep red color, have excellent substance and have incredible stiff foliage. When growing these please realize that tetraploids have a somewhat slower growth habit. We have been growing these plants from seed since 2010 and have staged them in the lab so they didn't all come out at once. When these plants do get to be fully mature expect many award-quality flowers on growths from 12 plus inches (30 cm) or larger in size. Very Limited availability
