This has been one of our best crosses made with a besseae flavum! A flava-colored Hanne Popow (pink and yellow) crossed with the largest besseae flavum we have ever seen, 'Taiyo', a 4N tetraploid! These plants are growing extremely fast with beautiful foliage. You won't find this cross anywhere but here. The picture above shows some of the variation in flower color. The colors range from a pale yellow to bright yellow, pink to peach. Some of the yellow-colored ones have a little bit of peach color in the center of the petals or on the pouch. The flowers are larger than a regular besseae flavum.
