This is an exciting intergeneric cross between Masdevallia and Dracula, resulting in a vigorous hybrid that frequently produces maroon colored flowers. Allow the flower spikes to continue to grow so long as they are green, as these will continue to flower consecutively along the same spike.

Although the flowers of this orchid are naturally pendulous (hanging), we stake the flowers up as shown in the photos to ensure safe shipment.

Please note: minor black spotting on older leaves is normal for this cross. Given that it is such a robust grower, simply remove any unsightly leaves as they appear. New growths will quickly replace them during the growing season.
