One of the most colorful and large masdevallia flowers around from Macchu Picchu. This division has a 3.5 cm ns wide flower (at the widest point) with a vertical spread of 10 cm. It is a smaller flower but has a much stronger purple tinge due to the concentrated hairs.

This is one of the most difficult flowers to photograph, as the intense orange, covered in sections of purple hairs, doesn't photograph easily! This really is a vividly colored flower when seen in person.
