A beautiful pure white Stanhopea from Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, French Guyana, Surinam, Brazil and Trinidad. Wonderfully fragrant. Typically blooms in the summer to fall months. This is one of the larger-flowered Stanhopea.

Some of this batch has also been oryzalin-treated in the laboratory, potentially converting these plants to 4N tetraploids, with even larger flowers than normal! These seedlings come from our mother plant, which we have had in our collection since the 90s!

Stanhope are fast-growing plants, and we grow all of them in solid pots with sphagnum moss until they reach blooming size. We expect this batch to reach blooming size by the summer of 2028.
