This Vanda has quite the long name, given one of the parents has not been registered as of yet.

These are seed grown and not clones, therefore each one is unique in flower color. Pictured here are the first two to flower. They will most likely range from light to dark lavender. Flowers measure 2.5" across and mature foliage is between 16 and 18 inches across.

If you do not live in a high humidity environment (like Southern Florida), you can still grow Vandas! We simply put them in plastic pots with a bark mix like a Cattleya, and they do just fine. You will experience lots of aerial roots in the long run, however. Our other technique of growing these is in net baskets lined with Oregon green moss and filled with charcoal or coco husk.
