Description
This cross was made with the goal of producing larger, rounder albas. It represents the first step in a two-part process, and is expected to yield mostly coerulea flowers, some being lighter in color (the alba gene is recessive) when this generation is crossed back to an alba, the next generation will produce pure white large blooms.
This species grows well in bright light and tolerates cool to warm temperatures. A notable advantage of this cross is its vigorous growth, outpacing both parent plants. We anticipate these will reach blooming size between 2027 and 2028.
