7/8 Evening Viewing of the Epiphyllum oxypetalum aka the Queen of the Night

For those of you who are night owls, or just need to see this in flower, here's your chance!
This is a rare opportunity to see (and smell) the Epiphyllum oxypetalum, also known as the Queen of the Night. If you are not familiar, this flower only opens at night, usually around 10:30 PM for us, and the flowers fade before sunrise. Each set of flowers only bloom once a year! Our plant is so large that we have a few nights per year of blooming, and this will be our 4th of the season, so we now know the timing of it! This plant typically will not flower under 6 feet in length, so it takes quite a while (and a lot of real estate) for hobbyists to bloom it! It is set to produce 7 flowers. The fragrance is quite lovely!
Should for any reason we think the blossoms will not open on the evening of 7/8, we will make an announcement by 6 PM and re-schedule for the next evening or refund you if you cannot attend.
**Park in the normal parking lot, or up the hill at the events greenhouse entrance. You will see a lit pathway leading to the door. Once you enter, the room will be to your right.
