Description
A Vandaceous orchid native to Vietnam, Thailand, Sikkim, Bhutan and Assam. This plant in nature is found from 300 to 1700 meters elevation, making it a fairly hardy, cool-to-warm tolerant plant. Despite being in the Vandaceous group, this plant prefers low to medium light conditions due to its softer foliage.
These plants flower in the spring to summer months, and produce pendulous inflorescences which host about 20 to 25 fragrant flowers.
This batch has reached blooming size, and we expect them to flower in the spring to summer of 2027, with perhaps a few that could flower in summer/fall of 2026.
