Description
A shady, cool to intermediate grower from higher elevation Thailand and Vietnam. This is a shade-loving orchid which typically flowers in the spring.
Growth Habit: A monopodial, vine-like structure featuring elongated stems and two rows of flat, leathery leaves sheathing at the base.
Inflorescence: Produces lateral, arching or sprawling racemes with patterned, spider-like blooms. The flowers typically display intricate markings in brownish, greenish, or yellowish tones.
Taxonomy: Described by Rudolf Schlechter as Armodorum siamense in 1912.
