Brassocattleya Hippodamia

Of all our Brassavola hybrids, this one possesses the darkest, most forest green to blue leaves of all! This is a primary hybrid that is extremely easy to grow. In this cross we used the small form of B. nodosa, seldom seen nowadays in hybrids, resulting in a more compact plant with tight growths. We used the C. aclandiae var. coerulea to add the potential for lavender color in the column of this hybrid. This is an excellent plant for growers of all skill levels and for those who like to mount their plants on slabs. Current plants come potted in our traditional bark mix or sphagnum moss.
