Fantastically large, awarded divisions of this unique species from Central to West Africa produce small, yellow flowers along the side of their red inflorescences. This plant likes medium light and intermediate to warm temperatures. These grow well in shallow pots like bulb pans with New Zealand sphagnum moss or small bark mix. They can also be mounted onto slabs for those with high humidity.
This species is fairly easy to grow and flower. They also like bright, diffused light and can be grown with Phalaenopsis.
