Description
A native to Bahia, Minas Gerais and Pernambuco states of Brazil. This is the larger-flowered tetraploid version of this stunning Catttleya species. The plants offered should reach blooming size within one year or less, of 2021. The first photo is of the 'Orchidglades' AM/AOs (4N) clone. The second photo is of the 'Pink Amethyst' (4N) clone.
These plants will do best in bright light conditions and are tolerant of cool to warm temperatures. The need the water and fertilizer to be cut back during the cooler winter months.
