Cattleya Hardyana 'Deep Velvet' - Individual Listing

One of the classic primary hybrids involving Cattleya dowiana, prized for its colorful, highly fragrant flowers. The fragrance is reminiscent of baby powder. This offering is a division from one of our collection plants.

The plant was grown under high light levels, resulting in the lighter-colored foliage often associated with well-grown cattleyas.

The photos were taken on 6/6 while the plant was in bloom. We expect the flowers to last through most of June under typical conditions, although unusually hot temperatures may shorten the bloom duration.
