('Orchid Eros' x 'Ching Hua #1' AM/AOS)
A warm-growing Brazilian species with fragrant flowers. This compact Cattleya typically matures at about 16 inches tall, including the pot. Plants often produce a sheath during the summer and bloom anytime from fall through early winter, as buds can take up to three months to develop within the sheath.
This particular cross has been offered by some growers as var. rubra; however, flowering results have shown the standard form, or possibly a half-rubra expression. The photo shown is of 'Ching Hua #1' AM/AOS.
This current batch should reach blooming size by the summer of 2027.
