Description
A beautiful species native to Venezuela and Colombia, known to flower at the end of December. It has a unique, mild fragrance that has a citrus or tangerine like scent.
We crossed the famous tetraploid (4N) 'Summit' FCC/AOS with the select albescens 'Sonja de Urbano' AM/AOS variety which has albanistic tendencies with a hint of pink in the flowers which creates a triploid form that typically has larger well shaped flowers that are long lasting.
These have been flowering out as the typical colored form as the tetraploid genetics are dominate.
