Cattleya trianae (4N)
('Excaliber' (4N) x 'Spectacular' (4N))
This item is currently sold out — but we can let you know when it’s back!
These will be cutting-edge trianaei with very large, well-shaped flowers and excellent substance. The 'Excalibur' clone has very large, light pink flowers with a wide lip. 'Spectacular' is one of the exceptional offspring from a colchicine-treated selfing of 'Cashens'. These will all be tetraploids, as both parents are.
These typically flower around Christmas and have some of the longest-lasting flowers of the species. The first photo shows 'Excalibur'; the second shows 'Spectacular'.
The current plant for sale is an individual listing. Please see the last photo for the actual plant being offered. It currently has one flower sheath and should be blooming around December.
