Cattleya trianaei alba - ('White Queen' x 'Snow Queen')

These are interesting. We created these by first self pollinating our antique trianaei semi alba 'Queen of Snows' which originated from the Clarence Schubert collection in Madison Wisconsin probably in the early part of the 20th century either as a direct import from Colombia or from England where Doctor Schubert treated Royalty as an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. The resulting selfing yielded a number of interesting albinos that have a very distinct V shaped yellow band across the lip. We expect that 100 percent of these selfings will be the alba type. We have a very limited supply of these.
