Cattleya warscewiczii - tipo
(sib cross)
Native to Colombia, this is the largest-flowered species in the Cattleya alliance and was formerly known as Cattleya gigas. An easy-to-grow species, it produces impressive flowers reaching approximately 20 cm (8") in natural spread.
Blooming typically occurs during the summer months, with large, showy, and highly fragrant flowers that make a spectacular display.
We have some limited 4" pots that were oryzalin-treated in the lab, potentially making them tetraploids.
