Cattleya warscewiczii - tipo

The Tipo or typical form which is known as thaving the largest flower size of all the Cattleya species. Native to Columbia, this is an easy-to-grow species that we are growing in New Zealand sphagnum moss in plastic pots. Originally known as Cattleya gigas. The flowers can be large from 7-10” across. The colors are stunning and the subtle fragrance is quite lovely. Summer blooming. We created this sib cross here at Orchids Limited using very fine forms in 2018.

These are offered as flowering sized plants and should flower in 2025.
