Formerly known as Diacrium bicornutum, this species is part of the Cattleya alliance and is native to the region north of the Amazon River in South America. It blooms from January to June with fragrant flowers that have a sweet citrus and vanilla scent, and it grows well in either sphagnum moss or bark.
