Coelogyne pandurata

This species is native to Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo and the Philippines. These orchids send out tall spikes with multiple green, 3" to 4" flowers with black splattered lips. As if that weren't impressive enough, they also bloom with a wonderful fragrance and last about 3 weeks. These are large-growing plants that like big pots and can bloom more than once per year at this size. Grow in shaded to semi-shaded light and water when the moss becomes barely damp. Fertilize once per month for best results. These are great plants for south Florida and love growing on palms that have fibrous trunks.

The plants offered are divisions of one of the best ones we have seen with vibrant, large green flowers and black marking in the lip.
