Cymbidium Eastern Venus 'Haruichiban'
(goeringii x Sleeping Beauty)
This is a Japanese 'Waran' compact Cymbidum hybrid which uses goeringii to keep the plant small. In addition, it can flower two seasons, summer or winter! These plants are known for their upright stems, which do not need staking. The flowers should have a light, sweet fragrance from the goeringii, sometimes reminiscent of musk.
As the example photo shows, once established, these are capable of producing multiple flower spikes. Note that it is common for this variety to have some black markings on the foliage.
