Cymbidium insigne subsp. seidenfadenii

Cymbidium insigne subsp. seidenfadenii is a distinctive Southeast Asian orchid known for its elegant arching flower spikes and large, attractive blooms in soft pink to rose shades. Native to montane regions of Thailand and Vietnam, it grows in cool to intermediate conditions as an epiphyte or lithophyte. It was widely used in Cymbidium hybridization because of its excellent flower size, form, color, and floriferous nature, and its influence remains evident in many modern Cymbidium hybrids.

While these plants have beautiful flowers, their foliage is not! Some may have slight black spotting and trimmed tips as shown in the photos below!

These are recent divisions with decent root systems that will establish more with the new emerging growth!
