A widely distributed species native to Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, China, the eastern Himalayas, Bangladesh, and Assam, India. This is a durable and adaptable grower, thriving across a range of cool to warm conditions. This plant is in an 8.5 inch pot and the foliage stands 24" tall measuring from the bottom of the pot to the top of the foliage.
A dependable spring bloomer, it produces abundant, eye-catching flowers with a light honey-vanilla fragrance. While individual blooms are relatively short-lived—typically lasting 1 to 2 weeks—the display is showy and rewarding.
For best results, provide warm daytime temperatures with cooler nights, and allow for a cooler, drier winter rest without fertilizer to help initiate strong spring flowering.
