Dendrobium anosumum 'A Touch of Class'

This stunning Southeast Asian species is known for its long canes that produce multiple sweetly fragrant, large, and showy blooms. It follows a seasonal growth cycle: new growths emerge in spring just as flowering begins, then mature by late fall before entering winter dormancy. Typically, these growths finish maturing between late October and November. From that point on, reduced watering (without fertilizer) and cooler temperatures help initiate flowering, which occurs between March and May. These are very easy to grow and tolerate cool to warm temperatures.

We grow our plants staked in pots, but they are often mounted on slabs or grown in baskets or pots hung sideways, allowing the canes to hang pendulously for a more natural display.

This batch was recently imported, and new growths are now emerging that are expected to bloom in spring 2027.
