Dendrobium laevifolium var. aureum

The aureum form of this compact Dendrobium is native to the islands of the Southwest Pacific, where it grows among mosses on trees and rocky outcroppings. This charming species is best known for its exceptionally long-lasting flowers, which often remain in bloom for three months or more.

Found across a wide range of elevations in the wild, it is remarkably adaptable and tolerant of a broad range of growing temperatures.

Our current batch is already in bloom, with flowers that can potentially last through September.

Please note: It is completely normal for this species to develop brown spots on the foliage and shed some leaves while in bloom. Fresh new growths emerge soon afterward, repeating this natural growth cycle.
