Dendrobium moniliforme 'Benikomachi'

A mini nobile-type species Dendrobium with a widespread distribution throughout Asia, which includes China, Western Himalayas, Nepal, eastern Himalayas, Assam, Myanmar, Vietnam, Korea, Ryukyus Islands and Taiwan.

They have a wonderful sweet fragrance and flower well after a cool/dry rest in the winter. However, intermediate/warm conditions can work and the plants will flower randomly throughout the year in smaller flower quantities.

Many types, such as this variety, are grown for their variegated leaves and different colored canes.
