Dendrobium moschatum fma. Yellow

This species is native throughout many parts of SE Asia, and goes through a dry rest in the winter with reduced temperature, water and fertilizer, which helps prepare it for flowering in the spring. They will shed foliage on the mature canes prior to blooming, and produce musk-scented flowers that last about one week. They are quite beautiful, and it is worth the wait! Very easy-to-grow species.
