Dendrobium Roy Tokunaga 'Christmas Cheer' x Den. Snow Leopard

This is a Dendrobium of the Latouria section made from species native to New Guinea. These plants are very easy to grow and flower and can flower twice per year. The 3-4" flowers are very long lasting and can often last from 5-8 months. The flower spikes emerge from the top of the canes usually from between the pair of leaves at the top but the spikes can also appear on the sides of the canes just below the leaves. Each growth can produce flower spikes for several years so the more growths you get over time the more flower spikes you will have each year. These like intermediate to warm temps and medium light. Water as the potting mix just dries. If in spike or flower keep the mix a little more on the wet side.
