Dendrobium spectabile f. aureum

This striking yellow form of Dendrobium spectabile is native to Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Its large, uniquely twisted flowers create a spectacular display when in full bloom, and they carry a sweet honey-like fragrance.

Grow in medium light with warm to hot temperatures. As a low-elevation species, it thrives in heat and adapts well to warm growing conditions.

The current batch is established in 4.5-inch pots and is expected to reach blooming size in approximately 3–4 years.
