An incredible species native to New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, producing unusual 3-inch flowers that appear almost otherworldly. The long-lasting blooms display a striking blend of green, yellow, white, and reddish-mahogany tones, complemented by a sweet honey-like fragrance.
Plants develop strong upright pseudobulbs topped with a few sturdy leaves, while flower spikes emerge from the sides of the canes on self-supporting stems. Typically blooming from winter into spring, this species may also flower sporadically during summer and fall.
Current plant for sale is an individual listing for a specimen-size plant well over 3ft tall with roughly 20 large canes! See the last photo for the actual plant for sale!
Note that this is a large and heavy plant, weighing about 10 pounds. Shipping will reflect this.
