A lovely, classic hybrid originally registered in 1965! Lightly scented Nobile Dendrobium hybrids host flowers along the sides of the canes, lasting about one month after opening. These bloom in the late winter to early spring, and require bright light to grow and flower best. 'Apollon' means 'Manly Beauty' in Greek. A compliment to anyone who receives this as a gift!
Please note! Nobile Dendrobium foliage will turn yellow with some black spotting while they are blooming or shortly after to shed their foliage. This is normal, and once all the foliage has shed, new growth will emerge from the base for the next season.
Our current batch is expected to have flowers opening mid to late May!
